Investigating the Impact of Digital Transformation on the Labor Market in the Era of Changing Digital Transformation Dynamics in Saudi Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, limited studies have developed models related to measuring the impact of digital economy on labor market. This model concerns agricultural, service, and industrial sectors in Arabia. study further investigates relationship between digitalization, productivity, unemployment using ARDL error correction method for time-series data obtained from World Bank database period 2001–2019. The findings this illustrate, variables such as fixed broadband subscriptions (LNFBS), mobile cellular (LNMCS), computer, communications, other services (LNCCO) do not significantly affect market agricultural sector. LNMCS LNCCO influence service However, they are negatively influencing sector productivity. contrast, LNFBS has a positive both sectors. Interestingly, all three reduce long run short run, digitalization does economy. hopes benefit policymakers considering how reorganize socioeconomic infrastructure balance economic growth through greater technology utilization country’s human resources.
